We believe in taking a client-centered approach to counseling, where we work collaboratively with our clients to identify their goals and develop a personalized plan for treatment.

I specialize in helping adults and teens who struggle with anxiety, OCD, eating disorders, perfectionism, and feeling stuck in unhelpful patterns of thinking and behavior. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and direct. I strive to create a space where you feel heard and supported while also being challenged to create meaningful, lasting change.
Before founding HEART Therapy, I worked in a variety of clinical settings, including inpatient psychiatric care, community mental health, and specialty treatment programs. I also serve as an Associate Professor and Graduate Counseling Program Chair at Northeastern State University. Teaching future counselors allows me to stay current with the latest research and evidence-based practices, which I incorporate into my work with clients.
I believe therapy is about more than reducing symptoms. It's about helping you break free from the patterns that keep you stuck and equipping you with the tools to move forward with confidence.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker dedicated to creating a safe, compassionate, and judgment-free space where clients can feel understood and supported.
I work with teens, adults, and aging individuals navigating trauma, anxiety and depression, gender-related concerns, body image, religious trauma, and relationship challenges, including couples therapy.
I believe therapy is an opportunity to better understand yourself, work through experiences that may be holding you back, and develop the tools needed to create meaningful change. My therapeutic approach is collaborative and individualized, drawing from my training in EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
My professional experience includes working in child abuse and neglect intervention and community behavioral health, experiences that have shaped my understanding of trauma, resilience, and the complexities of life and relationships. I bring this experience, along with warmth and genuine compassion, into my work with each client.
It is my goal to meet you where you are, honor your individual experiences, and support you in moving toward greater healing, self-acceptance, and a life that feels authentic to you.
